DMCA and takedown policy
If your content appears in our directory and you want it removed, let us know.

What we do
3D Hub Plus maintains a directory of 3D models from third-party platforms. We do not host or distribute the model files. Each listing links back to the original source so users can view details and download directly from the creator.
3D Hub Plus is not affiliated with or endorsed by any third-party platform listed in our directory. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
For creators
If your model appears in our directory and you want it removed, just tell us. No formal DMCA notice needed. We will review and take the listing down within 48 hours of receiving a valid request.
Submitting a takedown request
Use the form below — it captures everything a valid notice needs, logs a receipt timestamp, and emails you a reference number. Or email [email protected] with the same information:
- Your name and contact details
- The 3D Hub Plus URL(s) you want removed
- The original URL(s) on the source platform
- Your relationship to the content (e.g., "I am the original creator")
We will review and act on valid requests within 48 hours of receipt. Every request is reviewed by a person — nothing is removed automatically.
Formal DMCA notice (17 U.S.C. § 512(c))
If you prefer to file a formal DMCA takedown notice, it must include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
- Identification of the material to be removed, with enough detail for us to locate it
- Your contact information (address, phone number, email)
- A good faith statement that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf
Send formal notices to [email protected], or submit the takedown formabove. Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing carries liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
If your content was removed: counter-notification
If material you posted was removed in response to a takedown notice and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). Email [email protected] (include the reference number from the removal notification if you have it) with:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the removed material and where it appeared before removal
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, and phone number, and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which 3D Hub Plus may be found)
We review counter-notifications promptly and will restore content we conclude was removed in error. For simple mistakes (a wrong link, a misidentified listing), an email explaining the situation is enough — we do not require the formal elements to take a second look.
Repeat infringers
We track upheld takedown notices and, in appropriate circumstances, suspend or terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright.
