Questions

Do I need a 3D file?

No. Add a clear photo or two and say what you want changed, and a maker models the figurine from it before printing. The first thing you get back is a quote, so there is no commitment to find out.

What does a custom figurine cost?

Size and detail set the price. Recent figurine requests here were quoted from about $25 to $100 by makers, and the one modelled from a photo was quoted $55. Describe yours and makers quote the real price.

How big can it be, and in what material?

Most are 3 to 9 inches tall. Small, detailed ones are usually printed in resin for crisp faces and hands; larger ones in filament. Say the height you want and makers will recommend the material when they quote.

Can it be painted?

Ask for it in your description. A maker who paints will say so in their quote; others quote it in a single colour, ready for you to paint.

How much does 3D printing cost?

Up to mug size: $15–$32 to start. One part is fine. Upload your model, or tell us roughly how big the part is, and you get a starting price range right away, no account needed. Verified makers then each send a quote for your part, so the final price comes from a maker, not a guess. You pay at checkout when you accept one, and we hold the money until your print is delivered.

What file formats can I upload?

STL, OBJ, 3MF and STEP files. Drag and drop your model and it is analyzed in your browser to estimate print volume and a starting price.

Do I need an account to get quotes?

No. You can upload a file or describe the part and see a starting price without signing up. You only create an account when you are ready to get quotes from makers and place an order.

Is there a minimum order?

No. One part is fine. Every job has a $15 minimum, so even a tiny part is quoted at $15 or more. No setup fees.

When do I pay, and is it safe?

You pay at checkout when you accept a quote, and we hold the money until your print is delivered. The maker is paid only after that.

What materials can I print in?

Common options include PLA, PETG, ABS, resin, nylon and TPU. Makers list the materials they support, and you can choose the right one for strength, detail or flexibility.
