How the photo panel works

Your photo is printed as a lithophane — a thin panel whose thickness varies with the picture, so it reads as an image when there is light behind it. It sits in the vessel rather than being part of it: the back opens, so a new photo is a new panel, not a new one of these.

Good to know

Panel only — no frame, no plinth, no LED strip; it needs a Glow Arch 5×7 with the gothic outline to sit in. Every panel is interchangeable with the one that came in the lamp: slide the back plate off, lift the old panel out, drop the new one in — a minute, no tools. Most people keep a few, one per occasion, and swap them as the year goes round. Store spares flat, out of the sun.
